Amanda Vich Fluxà

  • (Mallorca, 1975)

Degree in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Postgraduate studies in direction and management of companies and cultural enterprises at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and Postgraduate studies in the Analysis of Contemporary Art at Barcelona University.

Passionate about photography and taking photographs, she has studied at the El Observatorio school Photographic Language II, Documentary and Art Photography and done a course on Exhibition Installations. She has exhibited her work at the Art Deal Project gallery in Barcelona in November 2015 and she formed part of the collective exhibition Twelve in January in 2017 at the Nau Bostik centre, Barcelona. She exhibited in September 2017 at Mentepensante gallery in Palma de Mallorca

Formerly she was director of the Cultural Espai Mallorca and curator of the art and photography exhibitions. She was director of content at the first edition of the Utopia Photo Market. She was co-ordinator of the Formentera Photographic Festival and Nuu Festival in Barcelona. She is based in London.
