Esperança Camps

She's a writer and a journalist. She was councillor for Transparency, Participation and Culture of the Government of the Balearic Islands. She is deputy director of nondaily news in the Valencian public communication space À Punt, and director of the programme of reports Punto docs and La qüestió.

With the novel Enllà de la mar (2004), she won the Joanot Martorell and Crítica dels Escriptors Valencians awards. She won the Ciutat d'Alzira prize with Quan la lluna escampa els morts (2005) and the Vicent Andrés Estellés narrative prize for Eclipsi (2007). Published Zero graus (2006) and El cos deshabitat (2009), El Lector de l'Odissea award. In recent years, she has published the novels Col-lecció particular (2012), Naufragi a la neu (2012), Vertigen (2014), written with Empar Marco, La Cara B (2015), L'illa sense temps (2016), La draga (2017) and Alfabet de futur (2017).
