Pere Joan has an extended career in the illustration and comic book fields since the 1980’s. In 1991 he received the Great Prize award at the Barcelona Comic for the album Mi cabeza bajo el mar, Complot, 1990. He has worked in many comic book magazines and all type of children’s and adult publications, as well as the newspaper La Vanguardia. Along with Max he edited the magazine Nosotros somos los muertos (NSLM). As an illustrator, Pere Joan is an author that is always experimenting and evolving his own original and personal language.
