Pere Morey i Servera (Palma, 1941) is an all-arounder in the field of literature. He travelled around the world all of his professional life, selling products made in Mallorca, and he took advantage of those long lights at the hotel to read and write fiction. He has mainly cultivated the historical novel genre. In fact, one of his mottos is "a people that know their history, respect themselves and make others respect them". His has always been a very particular and didactic way of telling this history.
