Pere Navarro (Ibiza, 1994), trumpeter, pianist, composer and producer, is currently one of the greatest talents on the national jazz scene. With two albums released on the renowned Fresh Sound Records label ("Perenne" & "Live in Madrid"), Navarro has been able to forge his own fresh, avant-garde sound that defines him. He began his love affair with the trumpet at the age of eight and continued his training at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona, where he graduated from his higher studies. Jamboree, Sunset Jazz Club, Nueva Jazz Cava, Caja Foro, Jimmy Glass, Bilbaína, Recoletos, Sala Clamores, Plaza Jazz Club, Sala Clavicémbalo, Filloa Jazz Club, Teatro Avalón, are just some of the stages where Pere Navarro has already performed, among other theatres and auditoriums throughout Spain. At the European level, he has performed at legendary clubs such as the Pizza Express in London and the Sunset-Sunside in Paris, achieving sold-outs in both. He has also been part of cycles such as "AiEnRutaJazz" of the AIE, Ciclo Auditorio, in Bilbao, Jazz de Primavera, at the Caixa Forum, "#VivaLaMúsicaViva" of the SGAE, or the cycle "Red de Músicas" of the JM de Cataluña, and of the line-up, for example, national festivals such as the Lugo International Jazz Festival (twice), Fringe Festival, Menorca Jazz, Festival Alternatilla, and international festivals such as the 48Timer Festival Copenhagen or the London Catalan Festival. It is worth mentioning his presence in the last edition of the Lugo Jazz Festival. The concert was selected by the SGAE and Radio3, for the cycle "#VivaLaMúsicaViva", of the same SGAE, being the Pere Navarro Quintet the only National Jazz group chosen. The concert was broadcast live on Radio Nacional de España from the legendary Sala Clavicémbalo, and the concert was sold out. In only 3 years, the Quintet led by Pere Navarro has released 2 albums, under the legendary label "Fresh Sound Records". In this brief period, Pedro has managed to forge his own fresh and avant-garde sound, which has led him to be considered one of the great talents of the national jazz scene, as evidenced by his recent incorporation into the "Artistas en Ruta" cycle of the AIE (Asociación de Intérpretes y Ejecutantes) or the aforementioned performances in different SGAE cycles and his live performances on Radio3 of Radio Nacional de España.
