Teresa Matas is a self taught artist, she started her artistic career at the end of the seventies.

She is an artist in constant evolution, her work is distinguished for her constant experimentation with different materials and techniques. Her works are a vehicle of expression of her poetic and artistic sensibility, works that are distinguished for having a long term and meditated elaboration and are always the result of a personal confession.
