Elisa is a young hotel receptionist with ambitions for the future. She is a dreamer, seeks to improve her career and wants to travel and to meet new people. Eloi is an unimaginative and well-off public servant, with no initiative and always in tow with her partner. When Elisa explains to him that she has to go to Bonn for a course, he doesn’t accept it and decides to stay in Palma, where he’s caught in a loop of self-hatred and depression that only serves to attract bad luck.
