Mallorca’s landscape has been portrayed in many occasions by many types of artists, from late XIX century landscape painters such as Antoni Ribas, Antoni Gelabert, Ricard Anckermann, Anglada-Camarasa, Joaquín Mir, Santiago Rusiñol or Joaquín Sorolla, to the watercolours from the Austrian artist Erwin Hubert, who arrived to the island as secretary of Archduke Luis Salvador.

Beautiful landscapes portrayed in this volume by some of the best illustrators and comic artist from the islands. An homage to the artist’s work of documentation, and of course, to the island of Mallorca and its coast, in a moment in which massive tourism makes us re-think the model we want to follow, in case we want to preserve our historical identity and environment.
