INFORMATION

Opèramida is the evolution of a previous show, preserving the scheme that made it attractive. The evolution takes place from the aesthetic point of view, since we take advantage of a large practicable screen to play with the two dimensions and the three dimensions. Not only that, but we do it from the world of cartoons, so that the musical and dramatic pleasure of the initial proposal join with the aesthetic.

The scheme of the show is simple. An actor will guide the audience so that they are the ones who create the plot of the work they will be watching. With the premise that sometimes the plot distances the audience, this demiurge, half music lover, half scientist, will allow us to build a new opera with fragments of the most popular operas, sung and treated musically with the utmost respect.

The show takes place in Catalan throughout the spoken part, while the operatic fragments are sung in the original language, but overtitled on the screen in Catalan in order to be able to follow what is said at all times.

With this show we intend to remove a point of solemnity, describing some anecdotes and concepts that allow the viewer to approach the opera in a more relaxed way.
