Pau Walters i els AvantGardistas

Pau Walters was born in the center of Palma de Mallorca to an English mother and a Catalan father. When he was still very young, his family decided to move to a town called Elvas in Portugal. Once he came of age, he moved to Barcelona, where he began his career as a musician and producer, eventually joining a band for two years.

As you can imagine, Pau stands out for his fusion and fusion. As a producer, he has worked on countless projects, always managing to adapt to the artistic needs and different subgenres that his colleagues required. And as a singer, due to his multicultural background full of languages, we can hear him flow between Spanish, Portuguese, and English without any difficulty.

After completing his Vocational Training in Sound in Barcelona, he returned to the island and is already collaborating with local artists, having been introduced to the Kantalas Mob crew, releasing singles such as Ernesto, Cnidaria, and a full-length album called Avant Garde pt. 1. Drawing inspiration from both 20th-century avant-garde movements and classic mixtape series like Lil Wayne's The Carter and Jay-Z's Blueprint,

Avant Garde Vol. 1 is the first installment in this saga that explores political themes, spiritual themes, sexuality, and cultural identity. It even recreates Greek mythologies, like Cnidaria, which tells the story of Medusa from a new perspective.

Ultimately, his goal as an artist is to create the illusion that with each release, a new and reinvented artist is born.
