Photo reviews at Cortona On The Move 2025

The Institute of Balearic Studies (IEB) has an agreement with the organizers of the Cortona On The Move photography festival to cover the registration costs of 3 photographers from the Balearic Islands to participate in the portfolio viewings that the festival organizes on July 17 and 18, 2025 in Cortona, Italy.

This call is aimed at professional photographers residing in the Balearic Islands or natives of the archipelago. To register, you must present a portfolio with at least three recently completed photographic projects.

The IEB will cover the registration costs for 8 viewings (Basic mode) of the selected photographers, which it will pay directly to the festival.

To participate, send an email with a brief professional biography and the portfolio with the projects you will present (in PDF file) to opencall@iebalearics.org until June 15, 2025, indicating in the subject “Visionats COTM 2025 IEB”.

The result of the selection will be communicated from June 16 by email to all photographers who have requested their participation.

The coordinator of the festival will contact the photographers for their reviewers’ selection.

The selection of photographers will be made based on the order of arrival of the emails received and compliance with the aforementioned requirements.

Selected photographers, if eligible, have the option of taking advantage of the IEB's visual arts mobility line for their travel and stay in Cortona, Italy.
