This group was born in 1994 with the intention of dignifying traditional Mallorcan music by making a current reading of themes that define us as a people. We are concerned about our identity, our country, our language and our culture, without forgetting that we are part of the Mediterranean and that the richness of our cultural heritage cannot disappear.

Between tradition and songwriting, we have recorded seven works: Projecte Roig (1995), De poetes i altres codolades (1997), Anem de gresca (1998), Fent camí (2001), Amb Coherència (2004), el disco doble CD + DVD Tradició i Compromís (2005) and Temps de Revolta (2007).

The group won the Cerverí Prize with the song "Mai l'amor és impossible" from the CD Projecte Roig, with lyrics and music by Toni Roig, awarded by the Prudenci Bertrana Foundation of Girona in its 1996 edition. In 2016 the Obra Cultural Balear (OCB) awards the group the Francesc de Borja Moll prize, in recognition of its career, within the XXX edition of the Nit de la Cultura.
