Antoni Parera Fons

Antoni Parera Fons is a pianist, composer and musical producer from Mallorca.  He was awarded the National Music Prize 2016 by the Spanish Ministry of Culture.

He studied music in Palma and Valencia. In the 60s and 70s, he became known as a singer-songwriter. As a producer, he has recorded hundreds of works with prestigious authors such as José Carreras, Jaume Aragall, Joan Pons and Antoni Ros Marbà, among many others. He has directed recordings with Alfredo Kraus, Montserrat Caballé and Plácido Domingo, among other great lyric stars.

He has published more than 250 titles, with albums performed by internationally renowned artists.

As a composer, he is the author of symphonic music, opera, choral music, cantatas, orchestral songs and chamber music.
