Bàrbara Alca is a Mallorcan graphic designer and illustrator based in Barcelona. The subject of her works includes music, pop culture and the Internet.

She has participated in several fanzines during 2014 and 2016, among them Riot Grrrrl in Mallorca (Mallorca), Fritanga Fanzine (Cordoba), Al Habla (Madrid), Paraíso Online (Barcelona) and Pizza y Sofá (Barcelona). Bàrbara Alca has published her illustrations in Ruby Star Magazine (Madrid), El Jueves (Madrid), El País (Madrid), Petit Sàpiens (Barcelona) and LA Record (USA). Her publications include Coloring Book. Bàrbara Alca (Rata Editors, 2015), Ella Fitzgerald from the children's story series Petita i Gran (Alba Editorial, 2017); her graphic novel Pizzachica and Las Lloronas (Sapristi, 2019), and the book Tío, Cállate (Crossbooks [Planeta], 2019).
