The name Crònica de la Nova Cançó comes from Bartomeu Mestre's book "Balutxo" with the same title and from the mind of Cultural-ment. After getting to know Bartomeu Mestre's work, interest in the Nova Cançó and the large number of authors of the period beyond Lluis Llach, Jaume Sisa, Maria del Mar Bonet, etc. was born. Later on, due to the musical Porreres 1936 whose main voice was Bernat Bauçà, the idea arose to create Cal que neixin flors and to mount a concert full of music from a great variety of authors and protest themes.
