Fronterazul

FRONTERAZUL serves as an experimental laboratory for Flamenco / jazz musicians collaborating in looking for a unique sound. In 2013 Samuel and Manuel Carmona Garcia put the band together between Mallorca, Tarragona and Barcelona, ​​creating a concept of jazz flamenco rhythms and elegant and well connected harmonic structures. The band has jazz, groove, funk and Brazilian or Mediterranean influences, always with flamenco essence. In four years of existence they have played in many national stages, jazz clubs and festivals, including inaugurating the Ciutat de Palma Flamenco Festival at the Teatre Xesc Forteza, XX Festival Internacional Dixieland de Tarragona, III Festival Flamenc Lloret de Vistalegre, Cafè Royale in Barcelona, Aku Aku... Their first album, Vigía, based on the Mediterranean and the Atlantic coasts is having very good reception from both the audience and the critics, and it has collaborations with jazz and Framenco greats, such as David Pastor, Josemi Carmona, Jaco Abel,  Naike Ponce, etc.
