Isis “Apache” Montero

The Majorcan pianist and composer Isis "Apache" Montero, disciple of the famous Cuban pianist "Bebo Valdés" and recognized as the first female figure of Latin-jazz in Spain and young revelation, leads her project of own compositions, with that quintet that fuses the explosion of the purest rhythms of Latin-jazz, passing through jazz and with a touch of flamenco in a very personal way. One of his hallmarks is the mestizaje of the musicians who always accompany him (Cubans and Gypsies) and the staging creating an atmosphere of very warm energy. It's a trip between Spain and Cuba.
