Degree in Catalan Philology. He teaches at the Joan Ramis Institute in Maó. He is the author of narrative, essay and poetry books.

He won the Isla de Menorca Short Story Prize in 2000, with L'Il·luminat

As a poet, he has signed with the pseudonym of Ignasi Canyardet. He was the Head of the Language and Literature section of the Institut Menorquí d'Estudis and member for the Balearic Islands of the Associació d'Escriptors en Llengua Catalana.
