Leticia Maria

Leticia Muñoz has a degree in Fine Arts and she is a teacher at the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Palma, where she currently lives and works.

She is a multidisciplinary artist who has studied in different schools in France and Mexico, acquiring in her work a wide range of techniques and plastic languages (sculpture, photography, video), and body languages (contemporary dance, theatre and performance).


She has participated in different international festivals such as Water Tower Art Fest, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Festival de Video Danza de Mallorca, Bang, Festival Internacional de Video Arte de Barcelona; art fairs such as Art Athina in Athens and Supermarket in Stockholm; public institutions such as Instituto Cervantes in Sofia and Akademi Sztuk in Loodz, Poland and museums in Mallorca: Es Baluard and Fundación Pilar i Joan Miró.

Her work focuses on the representation of stereotypes, symbology, the use of iconic images and products, play, and the social role of women, as a way of highlighting and out of context this type of social behaviour generated by the consumer society.
