Llorenç Capellà (Montuïri, Mallorca, 1946) has written novels, plays, essays, short stories and poetry. He published his first book in 1971, a collection of short stories entitled No hi ha vent a la teulada. He was followed by the novels El pallasso espanyat, Un dia de maig, Romanç, Jack Pistoles, Ailòviu and Mireia emmarcada a la finestra. He has also published several volumes on journalistic and historical research.
