He was an Ibizan poet, who died in 2018 in Valencia at the age of forty-two. Twenty years earlier, he appeared on the literary scene with Poemes en gris, Premi Miquel Àngel Riera. A very personal voice, full of strength and vitality, and author of a dozen books of poems, he published with Sebastià Alzamora, Pere Joan Martorell and Josep Lluís Aguiló the book Grans Èxits, which compiled the work of the four Balearic poets. Marí was awarded the 2007 Ciutat de Palma Joan Alcover Prize with El tàlem. Her last book was Tavernàries, Valencia Award 2016 from the Institució Alfons el Magnànim.
