Marc Cerdó

Born in1974  in Pollença (Mallorca). He lived in Mallorca until the age of 18. He teaches Catalan in Barcelona. He premiered as a novelist with Males companyies (El Club Editor, 2010), where he recounted the trip of a young man from Mallorca to Barcelona, after planning a murder.

 

In his second novel, Cor mentider (The Club Editor, 2014), the meaning of the journey is reversed, from Barcelona to Mallorca, and it is told how a secondary school teacher settles in Alcúdia, after leaving his daughter and wife in Barcelona, and begins a new life.

 

Marc Cerdó is the son of the writer Francesca Ensenyat (Pollença, 1952 - Inca 2009). He is the curator of the book Una altra vida (Lleonard Muntaner, 2012) by Francesca Ensenyat.
