Maria de la Pau Janer

Maria de la Pau Janer (Palma, 1966). She holds a Ph.D. in Catalan Philology and is a lecturer at the University of the Balearic Islands. She hosts cultural shows on TV and radio and is a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines. Her most recent works have confirmed her position as one of the most read and appreciated writers. Her latest book, Las mujeres que hay en mí (The women in me), sold over 150,000 copies and has been translated into five languages. Previously, she published Els ulls d’ahir (The eyes of yesterday), L’hora dels eclipsis (Time of eclipses), Màrmara, Natura d’anguila (Eel nature), Oriente, Occidente. Dos historias de amor (The East, the West. Two love stories), Lola and Eres mi vida, eres mi muerte (You are my life, you are my death).
