Miquel Serra is a music group, whose backbone is the singer himself, who gives name to the group. Even so, the soul of this project comes from much earlier, when Miquel Serra composed and played only his songs. Then, in a rudimentary way, an essential concept to understand these characters, he would record his own models and distribute them among the closest friends. It is during these first years when albums like L'escriptura a la paret, Balontiro / Ole Lund Kirkegaard see the light. In 2009 he decides to record in a studio, where he comes out with his best work: Opilions. It is from this moment when the complete formation is created with the intention of being able to carry out in live all the repertoire that Miquel Serra had been developing until then. A year later, Música útil would come to light. In the spring of 2012 he publishes an EP with the record label ghosts, and in parallel he signs with the Barcelona label Foehn Records with whom he has published a compilation that includes his work between 2009-2010. In June 2013 he publishes Roses Místiques. In September 2014 the last work, recorded in winter 2014 at Favela Estudios, and named La Felicitat dels Animals, will be presented to society.
