Pepe Rivero y Ángela Cervantes · Olas y Arenas

Pepe Rivero trained as a pianist in Havana. He has been pianist, among many other artists, for Celia Cruz, and is pianist for Paquito D'Rivera when he comes to Europe. He has given several masterclasses in Europe and the United States and has written a suite for seven-piece combo and symphony orchestra, Yoruba Suite. He has also recently collaborated with Marcus Miller. Nominated for several Grammy Awards, in 2015 he won the Grammy with Paquito D'Rivera for Jazz Meets the Classics, a live album recorded at Dyzzy's Club at Lincoln Center in New York.

Ángela Cervantes trained in Ibiza and Barcelona. She sings with Jorge Drexler, Antonio Najarro, Emmanuel Djob and Brit Floyd. She has three albums of her own and the one presented by Fira B is the fourth of her prolific career, in which she has sung as a soloist on the most incredible stages in the world (Carnegie Hall, Radio City Hall, Palacio Sant Jordi, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, ...). .). She currently teaches voice at the Escuela Superior de Música La Creativa and tours with Pepe Rivero with his show Olas y Arenas and is preparing a new production on traditional songs from the Balearic Islands, together with Manel Fortià and Carlos Montfort.

Reinier Elizarde studied at the Escuela y el Instituto Nacional de Arte de La Habana and at the Instituto. He played with Irakere, under the direction of Chucho Valdés, and began touring the most prestigious Jazz Festivals in the United States, Europe and Canada. He has accompanied, among many others, Quincy Jones, Paquito D'Rivera and Concha Buika.

Born in Tehran, Shayan Fathi began playing drums/percussion at the age of 10 in Austria. At 16 he entered the Vienna Conservatory of Music and received a scholarship from the Drummer's Collective in New York. He also won prizes as a drummer in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. He has performed and recorded with a wide variety of artists, from all over the musical spectrum.
