Ponç Pons has published poetry, theatre, fiction and children's stories. He has taught Language and Literature at Secondary School. He studied at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (Mallorca). The first is Illòman, because of its menorquinity, and the second is 'Escriviure' (Write and Life), a definition of intentions that brings together, in an invented word, the capacity and need to combine writing and living. He usually writes from Sa Figuera Verde, in the middle of the countryside and surrounded by animals, with the names of illustrious writers, in the municipality of Alaior.
