SONORA is an experimental progressive rock band from Ibiza. The beginnings of the band go back to October 2010. Josep, Sara and José Luis got together and began with variations on songs by Josep, to which they added the inspiration and new songs of all members of the band. Three months or so later they were already performing for the first time at a private party in the countryside. At the beginning of 2013 a new member joined the band as drummer, Joan, opening new experimental horizons, through this new point of view.

Winners of the second prize in the Sonorizarte 2014 musical competition, they performed at the Four bands Festival, at the Ay Caray festival and at Sobrasada Rock in 2014. In 2015, they repeated at Ay Caray and performed at Rock in Rio. In addition to these performances in festival format, they have also offered concerts in small venues of the island, such as Can Jordi Blues Station, Boulevard Cafe, Raco Verde, Can Xicu, etc.
