Speak Woman Speak is a radical feminine group of artists who work from the need of telling stories about infra represented women from the past. Those stories are related to the different roots and origins of the company founders. Carmen Martorell (Mallorca) and Leah Francis (England) happened to have the same artistic similarities although they came from different backgrounds. Speak Woman Speak began with small shows as a part of new generation scene in Leeds (England), until its first long show, Soledad & Betto on March 2016. At the same time, the company gives theatre courses to women with social and economic difficulties. They have also worked with women refugees with workshops related to its shows.
