Ardara is the reconstruction of a journey. The one undertaken by Maria, Bruna and Macià, at the height of their youth. Through the eyes of the people who watch them passing by, the film follows in its tracks to understand why they never returned home. A story that reflects on the very act of counting things, representing them, naming them, the only way the human being has to understand and organize the world.
