I think of images which cannot be created by just by pressing a button. Images that reflect my way of watching.

I believe in what I create. I investigate in the limits of photography using it as a raw material to create an artwork that’s pictorial as well as photographic.

I use reason to give coherence and emotion to enliven the work... but in each artwork there is a struggle, not always balanced, between intuition and knowledge, between the rational, the visceral and the emotional. The artwork is no more than the physical result of the process.

I visualize the piece throughout its development, investigating until a reach what I previously imagined, and sometimes, when it’s finished I look at it and think: “here’s something I haven’t done”.

It’s for those moments of connection why everything happens; for those instants of fusion with something that it’s not me, and at the same time, it’s the most “me” thing that exists.
