She works as an artist in Madrid and she produces specific projects in arts, humanities and astronomy. Her work investigates the present links between art, literature and science applied to the everyday life, as well as the symbolic relations between reality and fiction.

Mar has attended residencies and participated in exhibitions, conferences and presentations in European institutions such as Matadero Madrid (ES), École Supérieure des Beaux Arts Nantes (FR), Museo de Arte Moderno y Contemporáneo Es Baluard (ES), Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno (ES), Fundación Chirivella Soriano (ES), Museo Centro del Carmen (ES), CAC Ses Voltes (ES), etc; as well as in South Africa (Nirox Foundation) and Miami (Art Center/South Florida).
