Saïm is a Catalan-speaking band that moves between emotive rock and post-hardcore. The trio from Felanitx and Manacor is made up of Joan Roig (vocals and guitar) and siblings Natàlia Gómez (vocals and bass) and Daniel Gómez (drums). Their latest album, “Precipitacions” (Bubota Música/B-Core/Saltamarges, 2025), is a thrilling collection of 13 emotive anthems that explore everyday life, nostalgia, emotional self-reflection, and self-acceptance, following the path of their previous works. It was recorded by Borja Pérez at Cal Pau and Michael Mesquida at Estudios Favela, mixed by Borja Pérez and mastered by Víctor García. Three leading labels in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands —BCore Disc, Saltamarges, and Bubota Música— collaborated on its release.
Saïm have continuously performed live, growing in front of everyone’s eyes, becoming one of the strongest acts in the Balearic scene, known for one of the most powerful and euphoric live shows on the island, always ready for a close-to-the-ground, high-energy experience. Beyond the songs and sound, a Saïm concert demonstrates that the ambition to speak about personal and universal themes does not diminish their deep commitment to a way of understanding rock’n’roll and music that, in times of superficiality, represents a quixotic ethical dedication to an uncertain adventure whose outcome we all know.
