El arqueólogo

El arqueólogo

INFORMATION

Although El arqueólogo asserts that living in Italy is living with crime and the ruins of the past, what we find above all in this novel is the meticulous recreation of a family microcosm. Claudio Bersani sees children, living and legendary relatives, grandchildren and colleagues parading through his memory and through his villa in Cicciano, near Naples. They all contribute to sculpting the portrait of a character so real that it jumps out of the paper, a great seducer with a mysterious adventurous past.
