Román Piña Valls

Román Piña Valls (Palma, Mallorca, 1966) has published, among others, the novels Gólgota (Golgotha), Stradivarius Rex, El general y la musa (The general and the muse) and El arqueólogo. He was awarded in 2004 with the Desnivel prize for Viaje por las ramas (Trip around the branches). As a poet, his latest book is Los trofeos efímeros (The ephimeral trophies). He is the co-founder of the literary journal La Bolsa de Pipas, that he manages since 1995. He has published the essay La mala puta. Réquiem por la literatura española (The filthy whore. Requiem for the Spanish literature), along with Miquel Dalmau, in 2014.
