Marcos Collado

Marcos Collado is considered as one of the best jazz guitarist, as well as one of the most requested. He has published an endless number of CDs, and he has played in innumerable concerts and festivals. It is important to emphasize his collaboration with artists such as Alaín Perez, Emilio Valdés, Henr Cole, Erwin Schrott, Chris Kase, Bobby Martínez, Pepe Rivero, Jerry González, Norman Hogue, Bob Sands, Molly Duncan, Ben Stivers, Estefan Rademacher, etc. apart from being the official guitarist of PATAX.

He has played in a great number of international festival in countries such as Spain, France, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Portugal, Italy, Germany, USA, Finland, Morocco, Peru, Brazil, Switzerland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Romania and Malta. He has also played in famous concert halls and theaters such as Los Angeles opera (California), Sob’s in Mew York, the opera of Munich, the Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna or the Castelo Sforzesco in Milan.

Apart from that, he has played and recorded with several groups and artists, such as the O.N.E (National Spanish Orchestra), Miguel Blanco’s Afrodissian Orchresta, Ramón Farrán’s National Jazz Orchestra, the Bob Sand’s Big Band, Ariel Brínguez, Tomás Merlo, José Feliciano, or Lorenzo Santa María. 

Among his publications, is important to mention the three CDs which are available to buy: What’s up(2006) , Suite(2013). Suite II (2015).
