He's a poet. His first collection of poems was Regió afòtica, published in 1978. He has also written Cristalls (Xibau, 1984), Els colors de l'edat (Institut Menorquí d'Estudis, 1992), Tannkas (Institut Menorquí d'Estudis, 2000) and Geografies al vent (2015). In 2003, the Institut Menorquí d'Estudis published Antologia poètica.

Since 2004, Pere Gomila and Sergi Cleoféhave organized the Illanvers recital. He has participated in literary festivals and round tables in Barcelona and France. He has also translated poems by French writers and the Portuguese poet Eugénio de Andrade. He has also collaborated with a series of haikus with the artist Marcel Villier Ribas in the edition of the book Arquitectura i paisatge de Menorca (Triangle postals, 2006).
